Terms and conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern the Comic-in-Mail Subscription Service provided by Regos Comics. By subscribing to any of our plans, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS Regos Comics offers three subscription tiers: STARTER PLAN: Comic Strips •Subscribers receive comic strips . •Comic strips sent under this plan are permanently owned by the subscriber. •No return or exchange is required. •Lost or damaged strips after delivery are the responsibility of the subscriber. BETTER: Comic Books •Subscribers receive comic books on a borrowing basis. •Each comic book may be kept for 30 calendar days from the delivery date. •On the designated exchange date: •The subscriber must return the previously borrowed comic. •Regos Comics will replace it with a new title. Ownership remains with Regos Comics at all times. BEST: Graphic Novels •Subscribers receive graphic novels on a borrowing basis. •Each graphic novel may be kept for 30 calendar days. •On the exchange date: •The subscriber must return the borrowed item. •A new graphic novel will be issued. Ownership remains exclusively with Regos Comics. DELIVERY AND EXCHANGE PROCESS DELIVERY •Deliveries are made monthly. •Delivery schedules are communicated in advance. •Subscribers must ensure correct address details. Exchange (Better & Best Plans Only) •Exchanges occur once every month. •The subscriber must: •Have the borrowed comic ready at the agreed exchange time. •Ensure it is in acceptable condition. Failure to return the previous issue may result in: •Delay of replacement delivery. •Additional fees. •Suspension of service. CONDITION OF BORROWED ITEMS Subscribers agree to: •Handle borrowed comics and graphic novels with care. •Avoid: •Water damage •Torn or missing pages •Writing or markings •Excessive folding •Spine damage Damage Policy If a returned item is: •Slightly worn → No penalty. •Moderately damaged → Repair fee may apply. •Severely damaged or destroyed → Replacement cost will be charged. Lost Items If a borrowed comic is lost, the subscriber must pay the retail replacement value with a 35% discount. LATE RETURNS If an item is not returned within 30 days: •A grace period of 7 days may apply. •After the grace period: •Late fees may be charged. •Subscription may be paused. •Replacement delivery may be withheld. If no return is made after 14 days: •The item will be considered lost. •Full replacement value will be invoiced. SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS •Subscriptions are billed monthly. •Payment must be made before delivery. •Failure to pay may result in: •Suspension •Cancellation of service Fees are non-refundable once the delivery cycle has begun. CANCELLATION POLICY Starter Plan Subscribers may cancel at any time. Previously delivered comic strips remain their property. Better & Best Plans Subscribers may cancel only after: •All borrowed items are returned. •Any outstanding fees are paid. Cancellation becomes effective after confirmation by Regos Comics. SECURITY DEPOSIT Regos Comics may require a refundable security deposit for Better and Best plans. The deposit may be used to: •Cover lost items •Cover damage fees •Cover unpaid balances Remaining deposit amounts will be refunded upon cancellation and item return. ADDRESS CHANGES Subscribers must notify Regos Comics at least 7 days before delivery if changing address. Regos Comics is not responsible for deliveries made to incorrect addresses provided by the subscriber. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY All comics remain the intellectual property of: •Regos Comics •The respective creators and publishers Subscribers may not: •Reproduce •Scan and redistribute •Resell borrowed materials •Digitally distribute content Unauthorized reproduction may result in termination and legal action. SUSPENSION OF SERVICE Regos Comics reserves the right to suspend or terminate a subscription if: •Items are repeatedly damaged •Items are not returned •Fees remain unpaid •Terms are violated LIMITATION OF LIABILITY Regos Comics is not liable for: •Postal delays •Indirect damages MODIFICATIONS Regos Comics reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Subscribers will be notified of significant changes. GOVERNING LAW This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of that country.
